Cintia:

"I do not regret spending three days of my life there because I learned quite a lot. I got a better understanding of business is carried out in the country. But what I really enjoyed was seeing how the local people love nature and all of this creation. They care for the environment, for the animals and even their crops. It was amazing to see that they have a loving and peaceful attitude to everything surrounding them. I particularly enjoyed the company of our Loddon Shire Ambassador, Paul Haw. He's very knowledgeable and was very keen in passing part of that knowledge to us. I was inspired by this trip and hope to treasure my experience for years to come."

Guy:

"
The Loddon Shire is a relaxing antidote to the stresses of Melbourne. Draw cards including the shire's wetlands, gourmet produce and gold-rush history are some of Victoria's best-kept secrets. The lakeside town of Boort is not only a serene holiday location in itself - but an ideal base to explore the shire from. And if visitors don't want to leave - the Loddon Shire has a community worth living in."

Silvia:

"My time in Boort was the time of my life! I was exposed to a whole new culture in a rural environment that was peaceful and friendly. I learned many interesting facts about history, geography and farming just by listening and chatting with our tour guide, Paul. He, just like the rest of the locals, were helpful and the sights he took us to see were definitely worth lugging a huge camera around. One of my favourite places in Boort was the caravan park where we stayed because it was situated next to a lake. Watching the beautiful sunrise with my early-riser friends was the best!"
